At Dead Pair Gear, we don’t just design shooting accessories—we use them. Founded in October 2023 by Michael Gooch, a Hall of Fame trap shooter and multiple-time state champion, our mission is simple: to create high-quality, performance-driven gear that shooters can rely on.

Michael has spent years competing at the highest levels of trap shooting, traveling across the country, and experiencing firsthand what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to shooting gear. Frustrated with gloves that wore out too quickly and cases that didn’t offer real protection, he set out to create something better. That’s how Dead Pair Gear was born.​
